Last Saturday, I went to the graduation ceremony for the creche of which my host mom, Masingita, is the principal. The weather was perfect: cloudy, so there was no sun and no rain. It, like so many ceremonies in South Africa, lasted about five hours, and not just the small children but also the adults in attendance became a bit restless by the end. However, there were frequent breaks where the adorable children performed skits, songs, and dances for the audience, which I think everyone appreciated.
